Council data
Council Tax bands by council
What every band costs in a given area for 2026/27, how the local housing stock is spread across the bands, and what that does — and does not — tell you about whether your own band is wrong. All figures come from published government data under the Open Government Licence.
We are adding councils gradually rather than generating hundreds of near-identical pages. Every figure here is checked against the published data, and each page adds local context rather than a name swapped into a template. If yours is missing, the free check works for any postcode in England or Wales.
